    Naturology: THE CLUSTER

    Seasonal Dreamland Architectural Concept Collection

The Cluster is a dancing rooftop that moves when there is a source of energy, allowing the ‘satellites’ to ‘perform’, change shape and to project different shadows, thus mimicking the sun’s movement. The key focus for creating this piece was to create individual behavior in each satellite within the same environment. Each cluster has different compositions of shape memory material; hence, their responses and behaviour are individual.

This echoes what might be seen on a macro level regarding the group behaviour of leaves on a tree.
